The Exhibition

We have holiday homes for sale, static caravans for sale, holiday parks and residential parks in and around the Worcestershire area so when we came across this fantastic exhibition we felt we should share it with you, in case you are looking for something different to do in Worcestershire.

The exhibition is called “Stretching the Boundaries”, it is being held at the Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre in Riverside, Worcestershire from Thursday 6th June right through to Sunday 21st July.

The exhibition has been created by a group of artists who were brought together by their shared passion and enthusiasm for the art of textiles. Collectively they call themselves the Midland Textile Forum. Members of this group are from all over the West Midlands, from Gloucestershire to Derbyshire.

At this Textile Exhibition you can see the wide variety of skills and personalities coming through their art work – weaving, fabric manipulation, mixed media lace making, felting, 2D and 3D embroidery and much more. The event’s inspiration comes from natural and built environments while involving inspiration from historical and contemporary sources to the heritage culture.

The “Stretching the Boundaries” textiles exhibition is an excellent inspiration to anyone who loves or has an interest in textile art. With tickets available from just £1.50 it will be an event worth your precious time.
