Diane: Luxury Hamper Competition Winner

Diane was one of many who visited our stand at the Camping, Caravan and Motorhome Show this year at the NEC Birmingham! The 6-day event ran between 22-27 February 2022.

After contacting Diane to tell her the exciting news that she was the lucky winner of our luxury hamper giveaway, chosen at random, Diane was thrilled.

She responded, ‘Wow! I cannot believe I actually won this gorgeous hamper. The kids have already claimed the chocolate!’

A little more about Diane…

We are a family of four, husband Chris, daughter Jessica (13) and son Jacob (11).

As a family we love to get out and about a lot. Walking boots on, destination in the sat nav, lunch packed up and off we go.

We absolutely love living life outdoors and that’s why camping and caravanning is definitely for us. It gives us chance to relax without Wifi, to be able to cook outdoors, play ball games during the day and cards or board games at night (both kids do cheat though!). Watching the stars and spotting satellites before bed and then lazy mornings just spent together – those moments really are special to us as we create lots of treasured memories all year round.’

Tell us a memorable caravan experience…

One of the most memorable caravan experiences we have had was when the kids were really young. We stayed in a caravan in Cornwall while Chris’ brother, partner and three young children all camped on the same site. The weather was horrendous and while the kids found it an amazing adventure, the adults really did not. With a leaky tent, muddy field, and being frozen to the core, it really was an absolute disaster!

After torrential weather, we all ended up getting cosy in our caravan while having hot chocolate with marshmallows. The children ended up having the best (and biggest) sleepover to date!

Another time, I was on holiday with my sister and their family, and we were in the middle of a game of rounders. However, with my brother-in-law being is competitive self, he decided to bulldoze his partner to the ground, and we were all in stitches of laughter.

Family time is the best and is honestly what life is about for me.
