Spent Christmas in Residential Park | Allens Caravans
Allens Caravans

Spending time with loved ones is what Christmas is all about, and in one of our residential parks, you will be a valued member of a tight-knit community.

For some, Christmas is about relaxing, whilst others believe it to be a time to venture and explore. Whatever Christmas means to you, Allens Caravans has something to suit.

Here at Allens, we offer a wide range of residential park homes throughout Northamptonshire, Wolverhampton, Warwickshire, and the Cotswolds. Just think, you could be celebrating Christmas in your very own residential caravan this year.

Christmas Dinner

One of the most important elements of Christmas is the dinner, not just because of the food, but because it brings all your loved ones around one table. Fortunately, our residential park homes are built to accommodate festive gatherings; our kitchens are fully equipped with ovens and hobs and most of our homes have a cosy dining area. Having a wholesome home-cooked Christmas could not be easier in our residential parks.

However, if cooking for Christmas isn’t your forte, our parks are well situated close to lots of lovely restaurants where you can indulge in a meal that you haven’t had to cook. Every day will feel like a holiday when living in a residential park.

Decoration

It doesn’t truly feel like Christmas until the tree is up and the decorations are out. This feels even more magical in a residential park, with lit-up park homes creating a Christmas card scenery. Our parks transform into fairy tale villages over the festive period with the help of decked-out residential homes and enchanted-looking forests for wintery countryside walks. Not only will you notice homes undergoing a festive makeover, but our communal spaces will also be ornamented, meaning that merriness will follow you wherever you go.

Presents

Once the tree is up, the presents need to go under it on Christmas Eve. Great gift ideas for new homeowners are homeware gifts such as cushions, throws, and candles. These will assist with the settling in period and help a new, strange place feel like home. Similarly, we are in a technological age, and any tech gift that brings ease into someone’s life will be greatly appreciated.

As well as practicality, thoughtfulness goes a long way. Instead of buying someone something they need, you might consider buying them something they didn’t even know they wanted. Always be on the hunt for thoughtful personalised gifts and cute stocking fillers.

Enjoying the Local Area

Northamptonshire, Wolverhampton, Warwickshire, and the Cotswolds are beautifully scenic areas, and each has many festive events to explore. Christmas markets, wintery nature walks, Christmas light switch on events, and much more is on offer within these regions. Make the most of festive events in your local community.

Reverse Advent Calendars

Though many of us find Christmas to be a time of excitement and indulgence, not everyone is so lucky. You and your neighbours could club together to make a reverse advent calendar. This is where you each place non-perishable food, toiletries, clothes, and other necessities in a wrapped box and donate it to the less fortunate. Our residential parks are places of community, and this is a great way for everyone to come together.

Christmas Parties

Festive gatherings allow you to celebrate with everyone ahead of the big day and make the countdown to Christmas all the more exciting. Incorporating themes and dress codes make them even more enjoyable and seasonally appropriate. Mull some wine and bake some mince pies and get your neighbours in the holiday spirit.

Secret Santa

A fun way to bring everyone together and ensure that everyone receives a gift is to organise a Secret Santa. You and your neighbours could gather everyone’s names in a Santa hat or stocking and pick them at random. A budget can then be set, and the gift-giving can commence.

Preparing For Santa

In a residential park home, you won’t have a chimney that Santa can come down. Instead, you can purchase a Santa key to leave at your front door so that he can deliver presents to your little loved ones. Also, don’t forget to leave him a sweet treat, a drink, and a carrot for Rudolph to thank him for his services.

The New Year

Shortly after Christmas, the New Year rapidly approaches, making for more parties, firework displays, and other celebrations. What better way to symbolise your fresh start than by setting up your new home?
