Slow Start To Fishing Picks Up | Allens Caravans News
Allens Caravans

A slow start…

After a slow start to the fishing season and many questions from fishermen (and women) regarding the whereabouts of the fish, the fish have finally spawned. It is thought that the inclement in weather resulted in the fish spawning late this year.

It has been reported that enjoyable fishing holidays through Allens Caravans are successful once again with Barbel between 5lbs and 6lbs, Chubb of around 4lbs – 5lbs and Tench of between 5lbs and 6lbs all of which have been caught on Allens Caravans fishing holidays in the UK.

There has been a wide selection of Bream and Roach caught in the fishing lakes too along with a 20lb Pike, 4lb Perch, 10lb Mirror and 4-10lb Common. Fishermen and women have also been thrilled with the great pleasure of River Carp’s return to the rivers. It is being caught on a regular occurrence.

In the photo above we can see that herons are enjoying a fishing holiday in the UK too, it seems that the perch this heron has caught is too big to swallow.

If you are looking for somewhere to go on a fishing holiday this year then why not give Allens Caravans a call and see what they can recommend for you.
