Owning Your Own Holiday Home | Latest News | Allens

There are a few things that you should take into consideration before rushing in and buying your new holiday home.

First and foremost, does the park suit you and your family? The park that you choose is going to be the place you are going to spending a lot of time so it is important that it is somewhere that you are going to enjoy. It may tick all the boxes for your children but it’s just not what you want from a holiday park. We understand that everyone wants something a bit different, that’s why we have a number of parks for you to choose from.

Location

Not only do the on-park activities affect your decision but so does the off-site facilities. Location is an attributing factor to your decision and although our parks are spread across the UK you are going to prefer some to others. Another thing to consider is how the drive is, after all you are going to have to make the trip a few times.

Size

A further thing to consider when buying any type of home is the size of it. If you have a young family you want one that your family can grow into instead of buying one which will need upgrading in a few years’ time. You will also need to take into account the time that you wish to visit your holiday home because some of our parks are unfortunately shut during the winter months.

Costs

Another thing that should not be forgotten is that will every holiday home there is running costs. Holiday homes have small site fees, rates and water charges as well as insurance, gas and electricity. It’s like a home away from home. These are not expensive but they do need to be considered in advance.

You can benefit hugely from owning one of our holiday homes. You can visit your home as regular as you want within season and have access to all on-site facilities throughout your stay too, so you can use them as much or as little as you wish.

Check out our latest holiday homes for sale on our website and start choosing yours today.
