Abergavenny Food Festival

Abergavenny Food Festival has often been compared to Glastonbury Festival so much so that Abergavenny Food Festival is also known as the ‘Glastonbury of Food Festivals’. This food festival is the highlight of the Welsh culinary calendar and is attended by people from all over the United Kingdom and further afield.

If you are looking for something a little different to do during your Wales Caravan Holiday then why not pop along to the Abergavenny Food Festival, it’s on the 21st and 22nd of September in Mommouthshire, Abergavenny.

Some of the brightest lights of the culinary world feature in the festival, occupying the centre of the town throughout six spectacular venues. You will be able to sample food and drink from over one hundred and seventy stalls and the food is locally produced across Wales and the Marches.

You will also have the chance to see some famous chefs in action at ticketed master classes, tutored tastings and chef demonstrations. Chefs that have recently attended include Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, Anthony Bourdain and Clarissa Dickson-Wright.

If you are looking for something less ordinary to do during your caravanning holiday in Wales why not pop down to the Abergavenny Food Festival?
