Park Location
We have three hire parks with caravans available to rent for individual holidays and short breaks in locations ranging from the rolling countryside in the heart of England to the dramatic expanse of the Welsh coast. The location of the park you choose could go some way to determining the price you pay. This is because different parks have different facilities, meaning that some require higher levels of maintenance, so we ask for higher prices.
Park Facilities
We pride ourselves on our outstanding park facilities, with each of our parks catering for every member of the family. As mentioned above, some parks have different facilities from others, which can mean the price you pay differs depending on location.
All our hire parks have swimming pools and Wi-Fi access as standard. Some offer live entertainment and a games room or outdoor activities like on-site fishing lakes, too. All our hire parks welcome pets, so you can include four-legged members of the family in your holiday, too!
If you’re looking for a countryside break in the heart of England, nestling between the Cotswold and Malvern Hills is Bredon View. This newly redeveloped holiday estate offers guests exclusive access to an 18-hole golf course plus a pitch and putt for less experienced or serious players. Designed around the local landscape and wildlife, the park includes woodland walks, lawns, and wildflower meadows, as well as fishing spots along the river. There is a clubhouse and bar to relax in, as well as the possibility of a hot tub on the terrace of your own luxury lodge.
Out on the Welsh coastline is our ever popular Sunbeach Park, tucked between Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian Mountains. As well as the bustling town of Barmouth, the sweeping beaches of the bay and the picturesque landscape of the mountains, Sunbeach offers an indoor pool, a games room, a playground and soft play area, a live entertainment venue and onsite café, restaurant, clubhouse, and bar.
Further down the coast at Aberystwyth is Aber Bay Hire Park – formerly known as Glas-Y-Mor but now expanded, modernised, and improved to become Aber Bay. Caravans facing right out onto the beach are available, and there is a host of facilities in the newly built eco-friendly clubhouse. It boasts a rooftop terrace with spectacular views in all directions, plus indoor swimming and splash pools, a lounge, a restaurant and bar and a games room. There’s also a live entertainment space with the very best in sound and lighting technology.
Season
Our hire parks are open for most of the year, closing over the peak of winter – typically in December through January or February. Due to demand, certain types of the year will be more expensive than others, with holidays in spring and autumn typically being cheaper than at the height of summer. So, if your time is flexible, you can save money by booking a UK caravan rental at the end of the open season.
Caravan Type
The final thing that will influence the cost of renting a caravan is the type of caravan you choose. Here at Allens Caravans, we cater for guests of all types, from couples and small families to groups of friends and larger clans. Generally speaking, the larger the caravan you rent, the more expensive it will be, but we always try to keep our costs fair and friendly to your budget as possible.
In addition to size, some of our caravans can be hired with a range of other features, such as terraces and hot tubs, and these will also increase the cost. But be assured that all our hire caravans come with all the essentials you need to have a great caravan holiday
Caravan Rental vs Abroad Holidays
When you are on holiday abroad, you need to pay for your luggage to go into the hold, and if your suitcase is too heavy, you could end up paying a considerable amount more to account for the extra kilograms. On top of this, you need to pay for transfers from the airport to your accommodation, and then the tourist tax when you arrive at your destination. When you choose a UK caravan rental holiday with Allens Caravans, you don’t need to pay for any of this!
Simply pack your bags as full as you’d like and set off to the park of your choice. There are no suitcase weight limits – the only confinement is that of your car boot. In addition, there’s no tourist tax, no parking charges, and no need to pay for transfers. You also don’t need to worry about losing money on the exchange rate.
Our hire parks have everything you need on-site, so you don’t need to worry about travelling out for food or amenities, but if you do, you can rest assured that high-quality shops and leisure facilities are just a stone's throw from the park. Not to mention miles of countryside or beach or mountains to explore.
